There’s nothing Catherine likes more than sharing her story and her experiences as she takes to the stage to entertain and educate in her themed presentations.
Catherine Fulvio is the true essence of a female entrepreneur, with a very strong business & marketing background, she opened Ballyknocken Cookery School in 2003 and specialises in creating tailor-made classes for companies seeking alternative and highly creative team-building exercises and incentive events. Catherine speaks at high profile events including the National Women’s Conference, International Women’s Day, Tourism Live Conference and The Irish Hotels’ Federation Annual Conference and is an accomplished and confident speaker. Her strong business background, entrepreneurial flair and her international success is commendable while all the time she remains accessible and entertaining. Her experience as a female entrepreneur has resulted in many highly accountable and relevant stories as she has navigated her way through tough business times as well as memorable moments.
A Daytime Emmy nominee, TV Chef and presenter is an award-winning food writer and owner of Ballyknocken House & Cookery School in Co. Wicklow. Born and raised on a working farm, Catherine is third generation at Ballyknocken and is an ardent supporter of fresh local produce and one of Ireland’s top culinary stars and talented keynote speaker.

Ballyknocken House opened as a Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast in the 60s and today it produces much of its own fruit, herbs, edible flowers and veg grown in the gardens behind the Cookery School. In 2013 Catherine won Entrepreneur of the Year from ActionCoach who described Catherine’s journey from bed and breakfast owner to celebrity chef in international demand, award winning author and leading cookery school owner as showing “outstanding example of entrepreneurial spirit“.
Other recognitions that Catherine has received include the Small Firms Association Employer fo the Year; the Cordon D’Or International Culinary School of the Year and Cookbook Author of the Year for her book ”Eat Like an italian”.
Catherine enjoys a strong media profile and has four tv series under her belt and has just completed is about to go into production with her fifith series of ’Taste Likes Home’. She recently completed her third series for Recipe.TV in the US for which Catherine Fulvio was nominated for a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Culinary Host and the series has been nominated for 4 Tastes Awards in the US. She is co-presenter on the ever-popular TV series “Lords & Ladles” which has aired on Netflix. Catherine enjoys TV appearances on BBC’s
